Refund Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
1. Try it first
Our demos are fully featured for 14 days, with nothing locked or watermarked. Please use the demo to check that the software runs on your computer and in your DAW, and that it suits how you work, before you buy.
2. Digital purchases are final
Our software is digital content supplied immediately after purchase. At checkout you agree that we start supplying it straight away and acknowledge that you then lose the usual 14-day right to cancel that applies to online purchases in the UK. For this reason we don't offer refunds for change of mind.
3. When we will refund you
- Duplicate purchases: if you were charged twice for the same product by mistake.
- It won't run on a supported system: if the software doesn't work on a computer and host that meet the system requirements on its product page, and we can't fix the problem within a reasonable time after you contact support.
When a refund is given, the licence is deactivated and ends.
4. Your legal rights
If the software is faulty or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including to a repair or replacement and, if that isn't possible within a reasonable time, a price reduction or refund. This policy doesn't affect those rights.
5. Who processes your purchase
Purchases are processed by our online reseller, Moonbase, as merchant of record. We decide refunds under this policy; approved refunds are paid back through Moonbase to your original payment method.
6. How to ask
Email support@defuseaudio.com with your order number and a short description of the problem, ideally within 14 days of purchase. We'll reply as quickly as we can, usually within two working days.
